‘Wonderfully In-Between’ was created in response to a growing need in the community—recognising that many families are looking for support during times of waiting or uncertainty.
This service is ideal for families who are ready and able to implement simple strategies at home, with professional guidance. We focus on immediate concerns that benefit from an OT's input now, while leaving long-term goals to be explored with your future therapist where needed.
This service was designed to:

Provide short-term, meaningful Occupational Therapy support for families while they wait to connect with a long-term OT.

Offer efficient, parent-focused support with a limited therapy commitment—ideal for families who may not receive funding to access longer courses of therapy, but still want guidance, tools, and strategies to support their child at home.

Practical advice for daily routines and challenges

Recommendations to help you get started before ongoing therapy begins
What does the 'Wonderfully In-Between' service look like?
This service is designed to be time-limited, simple, supportive, and easy to access. Delivered through telehealth consultations, it also includes a written support plan tailored to your family's needs. The service provides a maximum of 5 hours of Occupational Therapy support.
If you find you need additional support beyond what we offer, our door is open. We’ll do our best to assist you, and if more frequent or intensive support is needed, we’re happy to guide you in seeking this.
Wonderfully OT aims to provide clear and thorough Functional Capacity Assessments for children and young people up to 18-years-old. Every child - and every family - deserves to have their goals, strengths and challenges well understood. When these are clearly seen, they can be best supported in taking their next steps.
Functional Capacity Assessments are often required for NDIS purposes. This can include for plan reviews, for significant changes in circumstances or if otherwise requested by yourself or your team.
These reports typically take from 7 to 12 hours to complete, depending on the complexity and level of detail required. You are only invoiced for the time used. If more time will be needed, you will be informed at the time of referral or as early as possible. This ensures we can work together to find a solution that best suits your goals and funding.
Please note that consultations are available via telehealth. Home visiting is available at an additional cost where clinically indicated to be required for assessment purposes. Home visits are only available in Northern Brisbane Suburbs/The Moreton Bay region.
Wonderfully OT can cater to a range of report writing and assessment needs for young people aged between 4 to 18-years-old. This includes:

NDIS Access reports

Summaries and recommendations for schools, childcare and other facilities.

Summaries for medical professionals such as Paediatricians and GPs.
Wonderfully OT aims to cater to the individual requests of families while delivering assessments and reports to help children to overcome their challenges and thrive in their environments. These assessments aim to be concise and easily understood so as to fulfil their specific purpose.
Please note there are assessment services that are outside the scope of Wonderfully OT. This includes equipment prescription and family court reports.
Reports typically take between 3 to 6-hours to complete, depending on their complexity and the level of detail required. If additional time is needed, we will let you know at the time of referral or as early as possible. This approach ensures transparency and allows us to work together to find a solution that aligns with your goals and available funding.

Wonderfully OT's fees are $193.99 per hour.

When you have returned your intake form, you will be sent a service agreement which includes a personalised quote based on your needs.
